I retired in 2004 from my position as Managing Director of one of the UK’s largest footwear and fashion accessories trading companies. This has given me the opportunity to devote much of my time and commercial experience hopefully to the benefit of the club. My wife Anna and our two children Laura and James are all active members of the club. Second to my family ,comes my love of all sports; my only real claim to fame was being selected as a member of the British Olympic soccer squad in 1968 (unfortunately we did not qualify). My vision for the future of our club is, to maintain its unique friendly atmosphere whilst enhancing both playing and social facilities for all members to enjoy, regardless of age and ability.
