Read all about the pulsating, climatic 2015 Squash Handicap Final as the ageing Dave Laser Hanson took on the seemingly ageless James 5 Bellies Barry...

World champion Nick Matthew overwhelmed his great rival James Willstrop to claim his fourth Canary Wharf Classic title. Matthew's high-paced attacking game and astonishing court coverage nullified Willstrop's best shots. Matthew clinched an 11-5, 11-5, 11-5 victory in just 51 minutes, the shortest final on record.

Our Squash Courts

clay courtsWe have four squash courts, believed to be the oldest in Kent,  which are subject to a continuing planned maintenance programme.

Two courts – The Richard Jones and Brian Booth Courts (courts 1 and 2) are usually used for team matches most Tuesday evenings and available for members use at all other times. Apart from the last week of the leagues when everyone tries to get their games in, you can usually book a court when you want subject to little pre-planning!

We have an online booking system so you can book courts upto 14 days ahead - either from our system in the clubhouse or from any other computer, tablet or phone. Your membership is all-inclusive so you do not pay for each court hire.

Surrounded by lush greenery of trees and bushes, the squash courts have tennis courts on either side, as well as the greens and fairways of the courses of the nearby Sundridge Park Golf Club. Having a Green Chain Walk criss-crossing the land between the tennis and squash courts emphasises the countryside atmosphere.
