Junior Chairs
We joined Sundridge Park in October 1998, having lost the facility of a company sports ground due to re-location. We were introduced to the club by a long term friend, Don Weir, and after a few guest appearances, we became members.   We have enjoyed mainly club tennis (which we have an interest in reviving) and the social side of the club.    We are both retired and feel we are in a position to give some time to the club.  We have been recently running the junior club sessions on Sunday mornings, 10 – 12, ably supported by Betty and Victor Simms. These are open to juniors aged 11 to 15 who wish to come and play sets of tennis and put into practise what they have learned in coaching. We will use this as a base for understanding our new roles as Junior Chair and look forward to the support of the members.

After all the excitement and expenditure of energy during the day, it was nice to relax and enjoy the not inconsiderable talent of Salvatore De Concilis. We were treated to a fine selection of different musical genres complete with vocals. The event was a sell out, the wine flowed and a few brave souls ventured on to the dance floor.
