Nan Casey

Social Chair
It must be twenty years now since I joined SPLT&SRC, I had been to Malcolm Gibb's 'encourage new members' mid week coaching sessions. and had met one or two of the mum's from my son's school.   Subsequently, I joined the Club after attending the annual 'Fun Day' which was fabulous fun. I met so many people in one day and formed ongoing friendships. In the past I have worked in the office, bar management and catering at the Club and have come to know virtually every member.
Next year is our 'Centenary Year', and I would like to take this opportunity as social secretary to encourage you all to bring friends to functions at the Club.  We need both to increase our membership, and help raise funds to meet the costs of the  new courts so I look forward to seeing you and many new faces, at as many of our social functions as you can possible manage.

News & Events

After all the excitement and expenditure of energy during the day, it was nice to relax and enjoy the not inconsiderable talent of Salvatore De Concilis. We were treated to a fine selection of different musical genres complete with vocals. The event was a sell out, the wine flowed and a few brave souls ventured on to the dance floor.
